Marvel and DC Heriocs Color Cheats! (?)

I found a toy at walmart the other day, that has become my new obsession. They are Heroics made by Tree House Kids. They come in little colored balls, and are in "blind packaging", being that you don't know exactly which figure you are purchasing.  After SEVERAL L-O-N-G hours of watching youtube videos and reading random blog posts with little bits here and there, I think I have finally figured out the color codes.

The DC balls are a little more consistant with their color codes, and have never had one come out any different.  The DC color codes are as follows:

  • Yellow- The Joker
  • Red- flying Batman
  • Blue- standing Batman
  • Green- Green Lantern
  • White- Flash, Zoom or Martian ManHunter
  • Purple- flying Superman, fighting Superman, Justice Lords Superman
The Marvel balls have been a bit more unreliable when it comes to color codes.  A few of the youtube videos I watched they had opened their balls off camera, so there is a chance that the figures were mixed up... So I didn't count those, just the ones I could actually see them open.  However, every once in a while I would see one opened that didnt follow the color code, but it seemed to be rare.  So just take heed, these MAY NOT be 100% accurate.  But none the less, these are the Marvel color codes I have observed so far:

  • White- The Hulk, Red Hulk, or Captain America
  • Yellow- Thor
  • Blue- crouching Wolverine
  • Red-  web shooting Spiderman
  • Purple- clear Spiderman, Thor, or Iron Man
Out of the two sets, the Zoom, clear Spiderman, Black Spiderman, Red Hulk, and the Justice Lords Superman are the "rare" figures.  Apparently the Black Spiderman is extremely rare, as they only made a limited number.  Out of all the videos watched and blogs read, I never got the information as to which color ball the Black Spiderman comes out of, so that one will truely be the luck of the draw.  (THAT is the only one I dont have! Arrrrgh...)
